Lashkar Bonalu began on Sunday with thousands of devotees, especially women in their traditional attire, offering 'bonam' to Goddess Mahankali and other goddesses at various temples in Secunderabad. As always, the Ujjaini Mahankali temple in General Bazar saw the maximum turnout of citizens and VIPs.
